After being with Cell C for over 10 years I decided to port to MTN. Seemed I got the raw end of the deal when the sim I ported didn't match the sim on the card itself.

After the port activated and my number hung somewhere on the network, I was beside myself. I called the call center over 5 times and no one seemed capable of assisting me.

Finally emailed customer care.

The next morning Malefetsane from the port department took charge and did a sim swap for me and within 30 min of my phone losing network - my beloved number came back to me!
