Sarcastic Attitude Call Centre "Is all your Family Dead?"

On 26 October 2017, at approximately 11:05 I received a call from MTN, from a lady called Lungi. She called about a promotion for another telephone. I told her I already have a phone/contract with MTN and do not need another phone as I am only 1 person and don't need 3 phones. She said it can be for a family member, to which I rep****; "I do not have family". (Not close by nor to who I'd like to purchase a phone for anyways) She said: "Aaaahw, are you all alone?" - I said yes I am. She said "so is all your family dead" x2...

Is this your strategy on selling a phone? What if all my family did die in fact? What if I am an orphan?

I asked her her name, Lungi. She dropped the call in my ear.

Overall, I am very happy with MTN- but maybe check your client relationships.
