Samsung Contract with free TV from The 15th of December to the 18th of December - MTN Store - Mall of the South Second Floor
Dear MTN,
I wish I could select more than bad service.
I would like to say, Arthur Phiri is the person, who helped to take out the contract and is currently the person refusing to answer any calls. In my life, I have never seen or even heard of such bad service in my life.
To start, we saw on news 24, that there is a promotion between MTN and SUMSUNG, whereas you would get a TV when taking out an MTN Contract for a Samsung Galaxy S8.
We specially waited for the 15th of December to take out the new contract. Arthur ensured us that we only needed to download the Samsung Rewards app and we could order the TV from there.
Surely enough we did this with no luck at all. We went back to the store on the 17th of December, Arthur and his colleague (A Lady) rep**** that this is not their problem (This after Arthur) promised we will not have any difficulties or that he will assist if there was any problems. I was instructed to go Samsung and that they will sort this out.
Samsung came back on the 29th of December advising they cannot help, as the summery on the contract shows the 14th of December - Please note, this was the only page not signed and all relevant paperwork does account for the 15th of December. I was instructed to go back to MTN to get this sorted out, as this is a fault on your side.
Unfortunately we were still on holiday and we could only get back to MTN (Arthur) on the 6th of January. Here once again I was assured that he would hanlde this and there is no need to wait in the store. I was also asked to send the corresponse from Samsung to him, as he would need this to assist.
On the 8th of January, I sent the requested mail.
I phoned Arthur on 10th of January, as I have not received any correspondence from his side 9:15. I was advised that he will get back shortly as he has not heard anything from his manager. At 16:20 I phoned once again, as the promised call was never received. As per the conversation he cant to anything and has sent it on to his manager. He ensured me he will keep me up to date. I tried phoning on the 13th and once again today (The 15th). Currently there is no answer not any replies to may mails.
This contract is currently between me and MTN and I am not phoning anyone after this. I do however expect this to be sorted out. I can gladly send the contract details required.
Should this reply not be sufficient, I will take this up with the ombudsman, with all correspondences, regardless of the service, I cannot see that it should be such a struggle to get something MTN promotes.
Hope you can Help, Bryan
