Samsung cell phone batteries not available thru MTN

<p>I have an existing cell phone contract with MTN The Grove in Pretoria East, and have a Samsung Galaxy Core 2 cell. The battery has packed up. I requested a replacement battery at MTN The Grove and was told that they don't stock batteries!! They sent me to Samsung. I went to Samsung Menlyn and was told they don't stock cell batteries, and they sent me to New World. They don't have stock of this battery. </p> <p>I now have a cell phone still under contract that is unusable and neither MTN nor Samsung are interested. </p> <p>This morning I phoned MTN The Grove and demanded that they order a replacement battery from Samsung, and was told they will try but cannot guarantee getting one. What the devil has happened to Customer service in this country. It seems to me that too many retail outlet staff are just too lazy to do their jobs properly any more. </p> <p> </p>
