Rude consultant and MTN chowing my data

I called MTN South Africa to ask about my data and the rude consultant asked for my cellphone number and pin and after giving her my details she just kept mute and did not even tell my why, I waited for more than 15 minutes for her and she decided to hang up the call without even telling me what is going on. I saw people on social media complaining about MTN chowing their data but it never bothered me because I thought I was safe, I mean 14G got depleted within 24hours then I had 2Gs last night when I switched off my data and in the morning when I was trying to text someone the message did not go through so I thought may be it is network then I hotspot from my vodacom data n when I checked the app it was 0GB. No MTN South Africa what is going on? g
