Rottern Service in Contract Customer Care
MTN contract customer care line is the pits, so are their stores. It's easy to open a contract but it becomes a mountain climb when it has to be canceled. Your store consultants are useless, they're quick to tell a client there's nothing they can do and that ine needs to contact the contract line customer care, they don't even have the courtesy of calling them on your behalf.
I contacted the contract line enquiring about canceling one of my data contracts and I was told to pay a cancelation fee of R679.04 which I did and qhenI tried calling themback today to complete the process, 7 of your customer care consultants dropped their phones in my ear. The minute I mentioned cancel, they hang up. Beats me how those individuals are still employed there.
I drove to the store and they told me there's nothing they can do and that I needed to call contract and ask for a manager.
I need to have this data line canceled asap and I also want to know why are you debiting my account for the phone contract that has reached its tenure, should you not call me and ask me if I wish to upgrade or something, instead you're milking my bank account yet we've reached the term that was agreed upon.
I demand a phone call from a competent manager in contract customer care department and process the cancelation and explain why am I still paying for a phone that has reached the contract term and when will I be refunded for those unauthorized debit orders.
I'll be available from 12pm tomorrow, should I not hear from you between 12pm and 3pm. I will be escalating this to the ombudsman. This is bull**** and not a way of treating customers.
