After many complaints and different stories from MTN, and taking their time to respond, I am being told that in my contract there is a clause regarding subscription changes. This is obviously not mentioned when one takes out the contract. Very convenient. So now I am stuck with an account of R700 plus a month. I am definitely not renewing my contract and will advise everybody of the same dishonesty.!!!!

Kindly note that its is our customer's responsibility to read any and all terms & conditions of a contract before signing. The clause is definitely not hidden and could have been contested before having signed the contract.
Also note that there was a general price increase across all network providers and not just MTN alone.
