******s and MTN are *******

I set the limit on my phone to Zero Rands. (So I would not be charged for out of bundle rates)

My phone was ****** and the ****** was able to left my limit from R0 to R3000.000.

I have now been billed that extra R3000 on top of my average monthly spending of R993.00.

MTN confirmed yesterday that I did in fact set my limit to Zero on the 5th November 2015. Now they saying that I am NOT legible for Credit as apparently I am that one that lifted it from R0 to R3000.
MTN can easily prove is set it from R3000 to R0 as stated by Thabang Sedibe and can’t see when I set if from R0 to R3000, so I am still liable to pay... that makes no sense at all.

I then had a horrible consultant Ntombi Langa that would not explain why I do not deserve the money. She then passed me on to her buddy Thabang Sedibe (supervisor) who also was terrible to talk to. Constantly talking to his colleague when I am busy explaining my case, which I have to repeat. The best part is and it’s on voice recording…. the supervisor stated that 'the ******** can ***** my phone and lift the limit by dialling *141*..... do whatever they want and I, the client is still liable.' I questioned that a lot and eventually the supervisor hung up on me while I’m asking questions from what he stated.

I’ve spent over 10 hours talking to MTN to resolve this and then get spoken to like this. All I want back is money money I do not owe and MTN holds the evidence.

I have even logged previously complaints about the call consultants not doing their jobs properly, obviously nothing have been done about it.

and

WHY do I have to phone in to lift a limit and answer all these security questions, when the ****** just needs to punch in *141*... and change things on my account WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. MTN have voice recordings of me setting the limit to R0 they still won’t give me back my money.

Give me bake my money that you have evidence I do NOT OWE YOU.

Reviewer Update

I went in my lunch break to go to MTN itself - I went to the repair centre in Midrand.

Sifiso Masebe assisted me to the best he possibly could.

What I find frustrating, he was able to show me that the ****** did in fact lift my limit via SMS at 03:16am on 30 April 2016 - moments after the phone was ******. But Thabang Sedibe couldn’t and continued to make me believe I am liable to pay.

Sifiso Masebe also showed me that MTN have no evidence of me calling in on the 30 April 2016, but i have ALL the evidence from my work phone/records. Does the ****** work for MTN... I wonder?

I now have a REF NUMBER ********** to find my call recording on the 30 April 2016 to prove to MTN I did call and the call agent failed to suspend my account when I advised it was ******, thus I will not be liable to pay.
