MTN has been robbing me blind for the last six months or more, I have been purchasing data on a regular basis which use to be deducted from my capital airtime. Only to find out that even though I was purchasing data MTN was charging me out of bundle rates. When I queried this the only reply was I will have to place a dispute with my billing.

I then decided to cancel my contract as my 24 months was over I migrated to a 350 top up in the middle of July only to be deducted R2100 at the end of August when I phoned in I was told I am paying for the handset (which I never take) Data which was bought from MTN for over R200 my top up fee, and still my previous contract.

Not sure how or if I will ever get my money back from MTN.

My advise to MTN customers scrutanise your bill, this company could be robbing you to.

Thank you for your post.
Please be advised that the H/W fees is billed for the full 24 months irrespective of an early upgrade. Please note that the last invoice to bill the H/W fee was invoice dated 2016-08-01, as the contract has reached its 24 month period. Kindly be advised that all ADHOC data bundles are not charged at the same rate as contract inclusive data bundles.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.
