Roaming not enabled

I'm overseas right now and my MTN SIM is unable to connect, it just says "Emergency calls only". The problem is that I wasn't able to enable roaming before I left SA and now it's obviously too late to do it from my end. I've phoned MTN twice already and each time they say they will activate roaming for me and I wait 48 hours and it's still not activated. PLEASE activate roaming for my number and train your call centre staff to do it properly
