Can you please help me as I dont know what to do now. I took a contract over the phone with people who said they are calling from Mtn it was 01/06/16 @ the agreement was the money will be deducted on the 25th of every month and the amount will be R129 To my suprise @ the agreed date Mtn deducted more . I reverse the money and went and pay them @ the bank on their Absa account . I did that the following month on the thirth month Mnt went to my account and deducted R129 which is the money we agree upon Isnd to my surprise MTN handed my account over to collectors while they were still debiting my account. I told them I dont understand why I was handed over to them because I am still paying . It was quite and I thought it was resolved till they call after the contract was finished and I request that I wanted to speak to the manager which I did and explain my story to him and he promise to call again because I was about to get off the taxi in town and it was dangerous they might take my phone but he never did . After some months they hand me over to Normans attorneys and I spoke to the lady by name of Julia and I ask Julia to be the one who will be dealing with my case . I was communicating with Julia till now . I explained my story to Julia and she ask me to send my banking statement that shows I was paying I did that but still Julia says I am still owing and I must pay . According to me I payed Mtn more than I was suppose to till in July 2018. I then place a stop and reverse the debit order in September and it stopped . Please advise me what to do as they are calling me now and then telling me to pay I hopethis will be resolved as soonas possible.
