I have a contract with MTN, i was going through a rough patch and my account was a few months in arears, it was handed over to VVM. Early this month i paid the arears amount and requested to be reconnected, VVM told me they will find out from MTN what the reconnect amount is. Yesterday i received a call saying i must pay a little over R6000 to get reconnected. Where on this planet do you pay that much just to have your cell phone reconnected to a network.
