RIDICULOUSLY high data usage/costs that MTN can't explain

MTN have charged me almost TRIPLE the average monthly bill I was getting from Cell C before porting last Sep! Despite numerous calls, emails, requests and visits to the V&A Waterfront store in Cape Town, I can get NO-ONE to send me proof that the data charges are valid (I have received 2 itemised bills which conveniently track all data logs as “mymtn” and prove absolutely nothing!).

I’ve also managed to discover that – despite THREE requests and a signed contract stating that I have a 3GB recurring data bundle loaded to my account each month, I STILL don’t have one (4 months later) and have been *******LY charged out-of-bundle data rates as a result. This is BREACH OF CONTRACT, MTN – release me from my contract so that I can move to a service provider that isn’t gong to rip me off and drag the issue out for weeks and weeks wile happily charging me almost R4000 for costs that they can’t even (or won’t even!) prove. I have had nothing but trouble on this account since the day I ported from Cell C in Sep 16, and **********, ********** service and a “don’t give a damn” attitude from Shaun Bartis and the Store Manager at the V&A Waterfront store.

I want a DETAILED itemized bill which shows WHERE my data is being used, a REFUND for ******* data costs against my account incurred as a result of out-of-bundle rates charged because MTN have failed to load my contractually agreed monthly 3GB recurring data bundle (despite THREE queries over 4 months in this regard) and I want to be released from my contract period with no cancellation penalties, as per Clause 16.4 in my contract, given that MTN is in BREACH OF CONTRACT.

I have sent a detailed email to ********** 07 Feb at 21h04 outlining the run around, poor service, and lies from MTN staff. My cell number is in that email.

Best regards,
Thanks for your relply, Siphumezo, but it doesnt address my concern IN THE LEAST. My query and concern has nothing to do with the contract provisions, but rather with the 3GB recurring data bundle which was supposed to be loaded in Sep but has never been, and the out-of-bundle data rates that I have been charged as a result of MTNs continuous inabilty to load this despite 3 requests. The only data bundles loaded have been loaded by me via USSD once discovering that MTN have AGAIN FAILED TO DO SO, to avoid additional out-of-bundle rates.
Please note that MTN now have 18 days remaining in which to remedy this issue (i.e. provide a refund and adequately explain the high data usage in Dec/Jan billing month) as per Clause 16.4 of my contract, failing which MTN will be liable to release me from my contract with zero cancellation penalties.

Please note that STILL nothing is remotely close to being resolved in this regard, and that MTN now have 17 days left of the resolution period to avoid being in breach of contract.
