RIDICULOUS REQUIREMENTS

I never understand how the MTN consultants are trained, they are never consistent in what they are saying, every time you go to their stores you are told something different. I went to the SANLAMHOF Branch this morning for a prepaid SIM Swop, I was told to bring my ID and Proof of address, went away and came back with the two documents, was attended to by a different consultant who told me that they now require an Affidavit from the Police station, what the hell for?? That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard I mean I am there in person with my Identity document, what's an Affidavit going to prove?? I am sooo ****ed off and if it was not the case of using this number for business purposes I would just go to Vodacom and buy a new Sim card period
