Reycreo subscription. MTN seem helpless to investigate.
Subscribed without my permission on MTN to Reycreo at 9pm.
MTN were not terribly helpful, since they don't have the power to investigate these ****s. Yet clearly their shoddy compliance is what allowed this to happen in the first place. Although they did unsubscribed me., the problem is greater than just me. This kind of detritus subscribe people broadly knowing that old people often DON'T know how to use the technology nor how to unsubscribe themselves. If anyone has experienced the same thing, please rate on Google, on Facebook and make MTN and this **** famous!

10 Feb 2020, 08:20Dear Ishie,
Thanks for taking the time to reply, but I do already know all this. My issue is the systemic problem that MTN has NOT patched a serious security hole. Old people do not know how to use the technology and they get fleeced as a consequence. I am not the vulnerable party, and I have launched this invective on their behalf, not mine.
Furthermore, In a rather ill-considered reply to my complaint on Facebook, one of your consultants intimated that I was visiting the wrong kinds of websites. Firstly, I only use my phone for FB. But more importantly, how are clickjackers able to bypass the, as far as I can recollect, LEGALLY MANDATORY double opt-in system?
That is my concern. It is a real and extremely serious one. Please don't attempt to fob me off with platitudes about how I can cancel subscriptions. Please rather explain to me what steps are being taken to deal with this serious vulnerability - if any. And if you don't know the answer, please could you ask someone who does to answer to contact me.
All the best,
Adrian
