Requests to change my package to pay as you go are completely ignored!!!!!!!!

I have sent numerous emails requesting my month to month package be changed to pay as you go. No one responds to my numerous messages and my account keeps getting debited each month. When I try phone I am put on hold for over 30 min and can never get through to the cancellation departments. Is this how MTN retains customers by making it impossible to cancel your contract?!!!!!

And to date I have still not had a response from MTN and they continue to debit me. My only option now is to contact Ideshini Isabella Naidoo Chief Customer Experience Officer perhaps I will have success there as I have now exhausted all other avenues clearly MTN makes it impossible to cancel contract to ensure client retention !!!!!! Hopefully she can get to the bottom of this matter!
