Reported ****** sim, but was never cancelled.
My house was broken into, and a day later I realised that my laptop was ******. In the laptop bag was my modem, which has my data sim card in. I contacted MTN on the 13 October 2015, to suspend that data sim card. I have a case number from the police that I got when reporting incident. One morning I found my sim card suspended as I have reached my credit limit. This was very strange, so I contacted MTN. They said that I reached my limit of R3200. I was dumbstruck as I hardly go over my limit. MTN then confirmed it was my data sim and that it was never cancelled. Now MTN expects me to pay for the account that they never stopped. I was threatened today that my account will be suspended if I don't pay!!! I feel this is MTN's problem, and not mine!
