REPAIRED PHONE SENT TO INCORRECT TOWN
I dropped my Sony Z3 & the screen cracked on 27/2/15. I took my device to the MTN Retail Park Store in Beacon Bay, East London on the 28th to be sent in for repairs. I received a confirmatory sms that my phone had been logged in for repair the following Friday (6/3/15). The repair centre contacted me on 10/3/15 to say that they had received my phone & provided me with a quote. The quote & bank details were sent to me on the 11th instant & I immediately attended to payment & forwarded proof of payment to Ashia Meyer in the Repair Centre. I had not heard anything further from MTN so I sent a follow-up e-mail on the 16th asking Ashia to confirm receipt of payment & advise whether or not the device had been couriered back to the store I had handed it in to. She rep**** on the same date stating that the device had been returned to store. By the 20th I still had not heard anything so I sent a follow-up e-mail to Ashia stating that I had not been contacted by the store. I went to the store on the 20th to follow-up to discover that my phone had been incorrectly sent to the Store in MTHATHA. To date I have still not received my phone! I am not happy considering a new screen costs R2300.00
