REPAIRED PHONE NOT MY OWN
Due to MTN strikes recently I was uable to hand my phone in for repairs. I eventually got to hand my phone in 17 August 2015 to MTN CItyView Shopping Centre. This was after being told by MTN Westwood Mall and City View branches that during the strikes they could nto assist me I needed to go to a MTN direct store. 08 August 2015, I took half day at work to make a special trip to MTN Pavilion. Reason being the warranty was expiring on 25 August 2015. I was told sorry they cannot assist me if I did not hand my battery and charger in with the phone for repairs.<br> I have been a MTN client for years and every handset I have had I have had to send in for repairs and never have I been told to hand in the battery and charger. 17 August 2015 I handed in my handset for repairs at Cityview with no charger and battery. In fact they request that the back cover and battery be removed! I received my phone back 29/09/2015 & when I got home to charge it I realzied that it was not my handset. The phone is in terrible condition and faulty! When I emailed MTN Cityview I was told sorry my phone is out of warranty there isnt anything they can do.
