Repair taking more than 4 months

Longest repair for a phone. We booked a Nokia 7 plus in for a in warranty repair in July. Charging port is broken. Its now 4 months later every time we call the HVRC Repair center to get feedback they said its by a third party repair place and are waiting parts. I called last week and Kabelo the supervisor said he will get back to me its been a week since and he has not gotten back to. Everytime I call its always the same its waiting parts. They are waiting for parts for 4 months. We will never use MTN again, once are contract expires we will switch to someone else.

The worse is that they dont even give you a update on the repair or tell why its taking so long. We paying this phone on contract so we have been paying for a phone that we cant use for 4 months.

Here is hoping I will get the phone this year maybe. At this point I want the phone repaired this week and returned or I want a new phone.

I personally think if the parts arrived 2 years later for phone they would have never told us and just kept us waiting
