Repair of a new phone
I got an MTN contract at the end of 2015. I pay R150 per month extra for the handset.
Just a couple of weeks into the contract my phone started having issues, so i phoned MTN Direct, to come pick up the phone for repairs. They said i had to take it into an MTN shop. So i drove 150km to the nearest MTN store and handed the phone in for repairs. 2 weeks later i thought i'd take a chance to go found out the status of the phone. It was still at the shop. Haven't even been booked in for repairs yet.
So a week later it was finally booked in. They assured me it would take 7 - 21 days to get fixed.
The date it was finally booked in was 14 January. (that is after the 3 weeks of just laying there at the MTN shop.

After numerous phone calls and mails, i'm still waiting for a reply.

The worst part of it all is that they still charge me the R150 per month for the handset when i don't even have it.

Is that legal? It is 100% a breach of contract. My contract is for a phone as well, that i pay for extra, but i don't have the phone.

Any legal advise on how to bankrupt MTN?
