Rejected Warranty Assessment with Faulty Phone
I upgraded my contract on the 22nd of December 2014 to a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and within two months the LCD screen was jittery, had dead patches and lines all over the screen and within a week the phone was completely unusable. The phone had never been dropped and had a impact protection cover and screen protector on it since day one. When the phone was evaluated I was told I'd be notified within 2-3 days and after no notice after 7 days I went into the store to find out. Photos of the phone were taken on 3 days prior to me enquiring at the store yet no notice was received

The only feedback from the assessment was \DISPLAY CRACKED"and it was rejected for a warranty replacement however the screen protector wasn't even removed and there is not a single crack visible. I therefore have to pay R330 handling fee to get a repair quote and a estimate of R3000 to repair the screen through no fault of my own! I am highly upset with the lack of service and thorough investigation!

Annamarie Parsons"""
