Refuse to cancel my contract.

Early in July 2024 I went to the mtn shop in Mitchells Plain to cancel to contract. They said they cannot cancel the contract I'm in arreas, I could not undertake and was told to email my proof of payments and request cancelation of contract. I've send the email with the proof and requested a statement from them to reconcile but they never send me the statement and I told them to cancel my contract. I went to the shop today just to check why my contract was never canceled or why I didn't I get a sms saying its canceled. They told me the account was handed over for August and September payment because they automatically chnaged my contract to month - month without my knowing or consent and no deductions. I'm struggling the whole day to get through to their legal department to resolve this but no luck. Why must I be handed over if MTN decides to do something against my request and without my consent. They never informed me about the month to month and I specifically asked them to cancel my contract.
