Refusal to cancel a lapsed contract
I called MTN call centre to migrate my contact number to prepaid. My contract has expired and I do not intend renewing. However, the migration department did not call me back or cancel. Yesterday I received my data n minutes for the month which means I have to pay n stay with MTN for ANOTHER month.

28 May 2015, 10:29Hello StudentN,
Thank you for posting.
I do know how frustrating that this can be, do note that our management teams are aware of this and due to the current protest action being experienced there is delays in our customer touch points.
If you do not use the data and airtime provisioned, you will not have to pay the next month's invoice, but the usage is billed in arrears.
I hope the above is in order and would once again like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you.
Regards
Jean
