Refurbished phone given to me to replace damaged phone, unacceptable
<p>On 05/05/2017 I received a replacement device for my phone that was damaged. I was shocked when I opened the cupboard box and found that the replacement device was in fact either refurbished or someone's device that was given to me. The plastic on the front of the phone has been removed and replaced causing bubbles to form. The back portion of the phone doesn't have all the plastic. I immediately went onto this website and requested someone to call me but since Friday I haven't received any calls. I am appalled by this service because I am a loyal customer of MTN, my account is not in arrears and all my debit orders off without a hitch every month. It's not my fault that the Huawei G7 has been discontinued, I will not settle for a refurbished device. What guarantees do I have that the replacement not get damaged in the future. Something needs to be done.</p>

Kindly note that if a device is discontinued, we can only provide you with a refurbished unit and not a new handset. With regard to you guarantees, we do not offer a guarantee, but a warrantee. Your warrantee will last for the full 24 months of your contract.
