REFUND OF MONEY ERRONEOUSLY PAID TO MTN
On 17 October 2017 I paid money over to MTN in error. I have been in contact with their call centre daily regarding a refund of the money. 1st I was told that the money needed to show in their account before a refund could be effected. Then I needed to submit proof of payment that the money was transferred into the the account. I have followed up daily with not joy of getting the money back asap. This morning I was told that the refund would be made today and should be in my account by COB today. I have subsequently spoken them this afternoon and I am now told the the refund will take 21 days.
This is unacceptable as I am desperate to get the refund.'

26 Oct 2017, 08:39Please can you educate your staff with this matter as my husband was informed that it will take 21 days. He is a pensioner and this caused tremendous stress on his part and he is desperate to get the money back.

26 Oct 2017, 08:44Just a note this money was paid into your account on 17 October and queried on the 17th with your call centre, if it only takes 5 days, then why was the payment request only requested on the 24th. Is it because we went to the extent of putting our complaint on Hello Peter to get a reaction. Interesting.
