Settlement payment to MTN was not made from my account, my husband paid it for me. They say I will not get my refund because they need to see the amount on my bank statement in order for them to refund me? My husband is not in the country, does this mean I will not get my refund until he return? On my statement the amount that reflects is for the monthly debits MTN has been taking.
After payment was made, MTN sent me a settlement letter and there was a discrepancy on the amount paid and the one on the letter. I called MTN and queried this and they said it’s a system error. Now I get a statement stating that I overpaid by R2000? Why am I getting inconvenienced when I want my refund and when it is not my fault for providing wrong figures?
Can MTN stop buying time and send back our refund?
