Refund for faulty handset which was returned within 7 days: Refund Policy
In 2013 I bought a faulty handset from MTN festival Mall. The handset was returned to the store in 7 days for a refund which the store rejected. A year later I followed up and was told the phone has been quarantined. I took the matter to Small Claims Court and the case was awarded in my favour. I however need money to have the summons issued to MTN festival mall which I do not have. I would like the store to look into the matter and refund me the R3,000 I saved up towards the phone which I do not have in my possession. I am happy to provide MTN with the details of the court ruling so that they can effect a refund with the store.
