Refund and discount not app****

I have had a contract with MTN for a number of years. This year i upgraded two of my contracts.
Both my contracts should be receiving a discount and none of these are app**** since the upgrade. I have queried MTN on a number of occasions and each time i get told that the discounts have now been app****. This morning i have again checked on this and they show that the discounts have been app****, but when the person checks they see that there is no discount on my account (reference ***, req ***).

At the same time i have another query for a bill taken off my account for August where my bill was double the normal amount. When i queried this i was told that i am being billed for out of bundle data data charges. This was very strange as both my contracts are on Top Up. The original call (ref ***) i was told that there were a number of clients complaining about same and that i would be contacted for a refund. This call was on the 2 sept and since then no call has happened and i am out of pocket.

Today i called (ref ***0) and after being on the call for almost 30 mins have been given two other areas to call (MTN Direct) and the refund department to sort my query out

Hello HutchinsonT,

Thank you for your post.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it caused.

Kindly be advised that the system shows that the corporate discounts are not loaded on your account. In order to have the discounts loaded, please may you go to your nearest MTN Service Centre with a signed letter by HR confirming that you work there on a company letterhead and your latest payslip.

Please be advised that the number *** is on an open contract. Once the provisioned bundles have been depleted, you are then charged on the out of bundle rate at R0.87 excluding VAT.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Regards,
Ayanda
