Ref. no. ***6 Not getting to prepaid

My wife's contract expired on 9 October 2015. A month before that I contacted th MTN call-centre to move her number from contract to prepaid. I was told till the day of expiry, then I can move it. A week before, I called again to confirm the the situation. It was confirmed that, that should be my action. On 9 October I was told to wait until 10 October. On the morning of 10 October I spoke to Aubrey Nkosi who told me everything is fine and it should take between 2hours and three working days for her to be on prepaid. My contract was moved on Monday to prepaid. I phoned and was informed there is a heavy loading. On today Tuesday 13 October I phoned again. Now I am told it may take up to 30 days to resolve. This is totally unacceptable. Is this the only way for MTN to keep people on their network? I am basically now being forced into a continued contract.
