Recycling number without notification
I'm so upset I was just informed by the call centre that my number was recycle because I hadn't loaded any airtime for over 90 days. Why didn't I receive a notification that my number was going to be disconnected if I don't recharge over a certain period , so that I was going to make a plan . That number has all my business and banking details I've had it over 4 years . MTN I WANT MY NUMBER BAC****!!!!!!!!!!

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.
Please note I tried to call you, unfortunately there was no answer. The number for life rule is on the terms and conditions of the sim pack you get when you purchase our sim card. You have to make a chargeable call, sms, or log on to a data session within 90 days to avoid the number being recycled.
