Receiving final account statement from MTN like a post war zone

I decided to take up the Cell C buy out contract on the 16th of April. I went to the MTN Cradelstone Mall shop and asked them what was the final balance on my MTN Contract for my cell and I received an amount of R4300+- I went back to that MTN shop on 23 April to pay the final statement and the guy that I approach could not help me, he could not even pick up my cell phone number. He told me to phone the 808 number on Monday or go to the MTN headoffice. I decided to go to another MTN shop and the lady told me she can see that my number was suspended and that she would request a final statement for me to make payment as I was terminating the contract early. I was told to go back on Wednesday the 27th (April). I tried as well Monday the 25th to send numerous emails to their support desk and always received the same kind of response which basically said that I had to phone 808. When I phoned 808 I was told that they will have to send an email to their accounts department to ge the final statement. Wednesday 27 April we went to the MTN store and they had no further information for me, but I decided to pay R4300.00 and hoped that I would get a final answer as per my telephone call. I followed up again today 3 May regarding the final statement was cut off twice and put through to the wrong departement. finally I spoke to someone who tried to assist and told me that the request for final statement was not responded to from their side and saw that a payment was made to the value of R4300.00 I was told that they were going to refund me. I told her that I paid this amount as I believe that there is an early cancellation fee on the contract and would much rather prefer to speak to someone in their accounts departement. A call was logged. I am beyond frustrated as I do not want to continue struggling with MTN to finalise and close the cell phone account. What do I do?
