Really unprofessional voicemail and poor service MTN Tyger Valley

<p>I got a Samsung Galaxy S5 on an upgrade contract A ********** on the 12th September 2014. My screen broke recently and upon claiming from Samsung ADH Premium, I was told that my phone is no longer covered under warranty as it was older than 24 months.</p> <p>I was asked to submit my contract to prove that the phone was bought in September 2014. I submitted my contract but because the phone's IMEI number is not recorded on the contract due to agent carelessness, they have rejected it. What do I do next to resolve this? This has wasted a lot of my time already and been really frustrating.</p> <p>I tried to contact yhe Tyger Valley store to fix their mistake but they don't answer emails and don't answer phones. Their voicemail tells customers: </p> <p>"We're unfortunately very busy and don't have time for you. Please stop calling."</p> <p>Please fix my contract to reflect the IMEI number of the phone I got in 2014 and fix Tyger Valley's pathetic service.</p>

The consultant called me after a head office escalation. The 021 914 number listed in various places on the Net is no longer owned by MTN. Perhaps they should update this on the Internet and consider getting a switchboard for their other number ********** which I also tried with no response.

I also sent a email to ********** on Friday at 12:57pm but Mark claimed that the store did not receive any mails from me. I checked my mails. The mail was sent successfully from my side.

In summary:

1) Tyger Valley, get a switchboard to handle your calls. I am not the first customer to complain.

2) Answer your mails.

3) MTN, please ensure that phone IMEI numbers are linked to contracts online. Had my IMEI details been linked to my online documents (there is such an item under my contract section which says "unknown"), I wouldn't have to even try calling the store.
