I had 2 MTN cellphone contracts via TFG which I phoned to cancel on 1 September. I was told that both lines would go off the MTN network by latest 1 October. I should then give them a call so that they can get the numbers reactivated for me. The lines then both were deactivated on 1 October, but then the nightmare started to get the numbers reactivated.
I have been in contact with TFG several times to find out about the progress to reactivate the numbers. Every time the buck is passed and I am told that it is MTN's fault due to a backlog re-activations. When I contact MTN, they tell me if is TFG' error.
Long story short, my telephone number which I have used the past 15 years is inactive. This means that people cannot contact me, inconvenience and also loss of possible income for my part time job.
