R30,000 wrongfully deducted from my account

Without a doubt the poorest customer service experience I have ever encountered. I genuinely am astounded at the lack of care shown. I have spoken to dozens of individuals from both MTN and Rewardsco over the last few months and today I sit having wasted days of my life on phone calls and in store visits and the worst part is I have had R30,000 wrongfully deducted from my bank account for the pleasure. A few months back I took out a contract with MTN through Rewardsco. At the time of the sale, it should be noted that I thought I was liaising with MTN directly. More importantly however, during my first interaction on the sales call, I told the agent that I needed to port my number over to my new contract. I was told on the day, I could do this once I had received my device. When I received my new phone, I attempted to port my number over to MTN over the period of a few weeks. In that time, I was passed between the online team and the MTN stores themselves, from department to department with no resolution. Eventually, I had no choice but to cancel my contract and return the device on the basis that MTN were unable to fulfill their end of the sale with the number porting. My device was collected by an MTN courier on the 19th of June. Before I returned the device I verified with Rewardsco that there would be no charge for the cancellation or device and I would only be charged for consumption on the line, of which, there was none (as verified by Rewardsco). Since returning the device, I have had 3 deductions from my bank account amounting to R30,000 by MTN despite not having the phone or a contract, Since the last deduction on the 1st of September, I have phoned MTN 7 times and spoken to 7 different people. I have again, been passed from department to department, been cut off, told someone will call me back, told they would escalate to a manager and asked to email a document, without a single response or follow up from MTN. Is there anyone at MTN competent enough to return the money that was wrongfully deducted? The wrongful deduction has been confirmed by both Rewardsco and MTN. Please go back and listen to every recorded phone conversation I have had and tell me you are satisfied with the service I have received, I implore you!
