Puts the phone down in my ear!

Got a phone call from MTN today. The person on the other side introduced themselves as Micheal/Michael, I do not know where they got my number, seeing that they aren't even my current service provider. I very politely tried to explain this to Micheal/Michael but before even allowing me to finishing my sentence, he puts the phone down in my ear.

This is a negative reflection on the company and they should review who they have working in their call centres! (+ ********** 9496 13h58)

Good day Sune,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused as a result of this and assure you that it is not our intention to displease you.

This could possibly be from an outsourced/third party company.

Did the consultant mention the reason for the call?

Regards
Charelle Brockman

The consultant was trying to pursue me to buy a contract from MTN, I politely declined the offer, but I think I might have said three or four words before he put the phone down... I was still planning on ending me sentence with "Have a nice day". That doesn't matter anymore. Thank you very much for the reply and apology. I feel strongly about the fact that you should look into outsourcing business to companies that have the same professional standards than your own; or you could be loosing clients that you never even had in the first place. Regards and thank you again.
