Promo Service Fee
I've been paying for a Promo Service Fee R161.40 every month. And the reason why I also looking in to this is because I'm loosing data like crazy. But that's another complain. When query Promo Service Fee the lady told me its for a Hands Free Set??? I've been paying this phone for more than a year for a product I've not received. Going into the store to the sales team asking for what/were and when ... all they did was pull up their shoulders but me on hold with a call centre for 35min and still I don't have an answer to why I need to pay for this and what the function of this is? Can you please explain this to me and maybe direct it to the board meeting that sales consultants get information to explain to walk-in clients what it means. I would like feedback please.

We have checked the system and pick up that your sim card number is connected with the cell number *** in use with the device Samsung SM-A310F Galaxy A3, first date used on this device was 2016-07-19. Same date when the upgrade was done.
Please note that some of the handsets are not available on certain packages MTN allows clients to choose the handset that will benefit them, with the package chosen, instead of paying the promo fee once off MTN allows for the promo fee amount to be split into the 24 months contract. The promo fee is included in the subscription fee.
If the device selling price is R3500.00 (example) this device selling price will be split up in 24 months that forms part of the subscription fee.
The device is not free.
