Prepaid roaming not working, no assistance from MTN

I am currently overseas and after my MTN contract recently ended, I called and cancelled this via the MTN call center. After the cancellation took place my roaming services stopped working. I sent a query via the MTN contact form and a consultant by the name of Krishnaveni responded and assured me that roaming services should automatically be active on Prepaid. I have rebooted my device a numerous times and I am still unable to utilize my roaming services. This is now sabotaging my business and I need the matter escalated as a matter of urgency.
