porting problem from pnp mobile

porting problem from pnp mobile. was given a new sim, not individually packaged but from bulk storage. paid R10.00 in mtn store,killarney mall gauteng received message that ***number is on network, put new sim in...next message said settings etc would be sent. not sent settings...number not recognized on MTN network. cant top up. can't make or receive calls. receiving messages from other services.. what has happened...??? Told every day would be actived. have been into store ???
