Porting Problem

I have been using my number ********** 718 as Vodacom for over 2years now without a problem. Day before yesterday I bought a mtn sim card hoping to successfully port my number to mtn again. But till now 2days after I am not been able to make calls nor receive them, mind you mtn that that's a business number. I have been calling the MTN call center from people's phones. The one advice i had from mtn was to wait from 2 to 24hrs after having waited for so long. I was informed my card was not Rica and I had to drive Back to Rica agent. Till now I'm waiting, at about 11 today I called mtn and the lady informed me that my query is with technical department, not sure why it had to wait so long to go through to technical. I am not sure now if i am ever going to get my number back. Im really frustrated now. If only i knew. This is so unpleasant looks like i am already regretting mtn again.
