Ported number when out of contract

<p>ported my number last year as i was sick of the service on my previouse data contract. This contract ran more than the required months and went into the mtn store at cape gate to give notice and asked for my number to be ported. was told it will have to go on prepaid and once the account is paid in full only then it will be able to port it. </p> <p>asked for the outstanding amount and paid that instore. was notified that one months fees will also be needed to pay and i said i will do that via eft. did the eft at the end of the month and was later able to port my number to a better servie porvider.</p> <p>got a call today to say that i still owe them cancellation fees and that yes my account was paid in full, but there was cancelation charges?? </p>
