Port-over (MTN to TELKOM)
My telkom number was ported by MTN without my consent. Currently I do not have my old number and can't access my banking information and I've not been receiving calls for the past 2 days. I am now stranded with a new number ( ********** 314) and cannot operate my normal business operations.
To make matters worse the person who *******ly ported my number is purchasing things online using my old number which is linked to my bank accounts.

03 Apr 2019, 08:37Good day Siyanda,
Thank you for your post.
Please accept our apologies for the lapse in service and the inconvenience caused to you as a result.
Kindly note that a sim swap needed to be done with your service provider before the port-out request. Kindly enquire with your service provider how this was done without your consent. Please note that we have sent a port-reversal request to our Porting department.
Warm Regards,Zanele MazibukoComplaints Management Team
