Poor Service to paying customers

For more than 3 weeks now there has been a problem with both mtn LTE and 3G in the Soshanguve South area. Where there used to be full LTE coverage now there is none and if you are lucky you get 2 bars which are not constant and barely give speeds of 5mbps, compared to the initial speeds that were in excess of 40mbps. And since the LTE network experienced problems, the default 3G network has become so congested that it is unusable both during the day and at night, with speeds not exceeding 2mbps.

I have called the MTN coverage department ( ********** ) countless times in the past 2 weeks and they indeed confirm that "there is an issue currently and it is being attended to by technicians". They have been saying this for more than 2 weeks now. How long does it take to fix such a problem? It is starting to feel like this matter is not receiving priority whatsoever based on the location/area it has occurred in. The affected area has a university (TUT Sosh south campus) and Tshwane North college including a mall nearby. All these places are affected by this fault that MTN does not seem to know how to fix. I wonder if in the middle of Sandton/Bryanston there was such a fault with their LTE network, how long would it take to sort that out and what priority would that matter receive?

Sadly there is no difference in the amount of money paid by customers in Sandton and customers in Soshanguve and as such we should all receive the same and full benefits from MTN as our service provider and I am sorely dissapointed at how badly they are dragging their feet to resolve all this.
