Poor service...time and time again

Hi. I upgraded my handset and contract approx.. 3 months ago. I visited the Clearwater mall shop and they were constantly busy, took my details on a piece of paper in one instance and promised to request the upgrade and change in contract. They failed to deliver and when I visited them the 3rd time they said that it would be better to request it via the Call center as it will be faster. I then did that.

My handset has recently been giving me issues and i took it to Clearwater MTN, they sent me away to get all the accessories and the original box the handset came in. I took it back and because I didn’t have the correct USB charger that came with the handset they wanted to send me away again.[ and also said I should drive to Midrand and book the phone in, which I objected to] I am sorry for not knowing which usb cable the device came with and fail the understand the relevance thereof as it should be simple.....fix my phone and return it to me.

Yesterday I received a sms with a job number to advise a price in excess of R11k excl Vat [ job ********** ], and I phoned and was advised to send my original tax invoice signed to <a style="text-decoration: none; color: #4285f4;" ********** ********** I would imagine you have this on your systems, but I did so. I now received an email confirming that the device needs to be returned to the shop and rebooked in for replacement/repairs. Are you kidding me???!!!!!!

No onextra has phoned since the issue''s been logged. I received another sms today requesting confirmation for the job order of approx. R11K. Can someone perhaps pick up a phone ( that is your business....communication ) and phone me to resolve? Perhaps you ran out of airtime?

Still no response. I guess they're OK with it as my contract was recently signed...so I'm theirs for another 21 months...problem solved contractually. Now that's a way to keep your customers!
