Poor service overcharged account
Sim number-*** A block was put on our ****le since this data switched calls overcharging happened previously as well after which we requested a block of data used more than 2G at the Grove mall. Now again why was the block now removed? I want a refund as well as an explanation of the initial request to block access once 2G has been reached -this is been pathetic why has this not been done. We logged a query but no one has the decency of returning calls-I am sure Cell c will welcome our business rather.

08 Oct 2015, 10:12Hello vandenheevery,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and we would like to apologise for any inconveniences this may have caused.
According to our records, there has never been a block or a limit of data on this line. Your usage for the month of the 11th September 2015 was just higher than any other month. The total usage was on 7,840mb however you are allocated with 2G every month meaning you went over with 5,792mb which you were charged out of bundle rate for. This means that the charges are valid.
Please note that your Data package doesn't allow a limit at all. The only way to avoid going over your data allocation is to migrate to a TopUp package. You can visit your nearest MTN store or call our Customer Care line on 808 (free from an MTN line) or 083 1 808 (chargeable from a Non MTN line) to migrate. Please note that only the Account Holder can migrate the package.
We hope you find the above in order.
Warm Regards
