Poor service from a poor company

This is what one of my close friends encountered and they asked me to bring it to everyone's attention. After receiving years of bad services they still renewed their contract with MTN. A month went by and then came the problems. The phone, which is a Samsung Galaxy S7, they received didn't receive or make any calls. They then went to MTN because of it not even being able to access the MTN services. MTN told them that the SIM was registered as a dual SIM, but they only use that one SIM. So the MTN branch in Hartbee****rt, not the one in Brits because you can't do propper business with them they refer you to the helpline for anything, helped them by registering a new SIM. The week went by and they were happy until the next Saturday it happened again. They are very angry because of it being a new phone and new SIM by being a top customer they would've thought they will receive top services. It is not their fault and they are not willing to check the phone in because we know this is how MTN does business, you wait 3 weeks after checking the device in and then they state how many thousands you should pay before the "fix" the brand new phone we received from MTN.
