On the 25 Sep I walked into MTN Woodmead service centre where a consultant was not able re: my 10g data package being depleted within 10 days. As they could not assist, a call to the call center was made where I spoke to a consultant by the name of Thando at 11.30am. As it was a Sunday, a query was generated with reference number ********** 78. As, I did not receive any feedback I sent another request on the 28th Oct via the MTN website, no reference or response received at that point. I then wrote an email to ********** on the 6th Oct in which I received a response that the query I originally could not be found because of a system error. This response was sent by a consultant by the name of Thobekile Mkhize who then advised that a new request was logged 1- ********** 2154 or ********** 2 and that I could wait another 7 working days for the someone to call me. This only to tell me what has happened to my data package. My monthly bundle renews every month on the 14th, which by the time this investigation occurs, I would be in my new monthly cycle of data. My data is being used and I would like to know how it is being depleted as this is the second month in a row this has occurred around the same time in the month. Why is it taking MTN so long to assist in resolving this problem? Is there a telecommunications complaints commissioner or ombudsman that can assist in resolving such issue. #MTN_Bad_Service
