Poor service and management

I have been a loyal MTN customer since 2021, consistently paying my monthly contract fees. Despite occasional network outages and issues with my home router, which I acquired in April 2023, I continued to pay. However, the support I received was often unhelpful, with representatives frequently suggesting that I simply restart my router. Frustratingly, I would still be charged monthly for data and airtime even when my network was not functioning properly. Due to the persistent issues and lack of effective support, I decided to stop paying. Subsequently, MTN took legal action against me, demanding payment for the months I had stopped paying, despite my lack of access to their services during that time. My home router was non-functional, my number had been deactivated, and I had no access to data or airtime. Unfortunately, my experience with MTN's service has been subpar, and I have found their support to be inadequate. I will never encourage anyone to use MTN. How can I pay for something that I’m not using.

I'm concerned about a sudden increase in my MTN bill. In June, I received a statement showing an outstanding balance of R11,663. However, the July statement indicated that I owe R25,000. I'm surprised by this significant jump and would like to understand what caused it. The reason I've stopped paying is due to poor network service. I've been struggling with unreliable connections, and despite receiving data, I couldn't use it for the entire month. Additionally, the home router I requested didn't work consistently, often losing network availability after a few days. Yoooh MTN I regret the day I took the contract
