Poor Service and Empty Promises

Poor service and empty promises has become the norm with Mtn Tygervalley. My cell which I had for a few months was faulty. I was informed it is still under warranty and I could return it for a replacement. On my second visit I was told I needed to return the entire box. On my third visit I was told it would not be replaced but repaired. On my fourth visit I took my cell in for repairs only to lie in the shop for weeks waiting for the courier to collect it. I was then informed that due to small scratches on my phone the warrantee lapsed and I would need to pay for the repairs. So since November 2018 I have had no functional cell phone but I am still paying my monthly contract. I insisted to see the manager on 26 Jan 2019 and Suzette assisted me. I made contact with Suzette on 9 Feb 2019 and she informed me on 11 Feb 2019 that the repairs amount to R727 for my own account. I asked for my cellphone to be returned to me on the 28th of February 2019. Its a month later and I still do not have my faulty, unrepaired phone back. Yet I am still paying for a service I am not receiving. If I do not receive a response in 24 hours I will report this to the consumer goods and services ombudsman and will insist on cancellation of this contract.
