Poor Service and bad attitude

I bought a A blackberry 9720 with imei number: *** December 2015.
The phone stopped charging and i asked my sister to take it back woodlands store where
it was sent to mtn repair center.
We were adviced that, they will keep us posted on whats happening.
But we never got any feedback, and when we went back to the store, we were told we need to pay technical assessment fee of R330. We were told that mtn changed their procedure, Every time customer book a phone , mtn need that R350 assessment fee. I called mtn myself ***) which it took me an hour to get thru, After that the person who peach the phone is so ruud by the name SARIDA.

The phone was bought in December last year and it is still under warranty, And they say they can't fix it because is beyond repair. Kindly contact me and tell me the way forward, because this service is unacceptable. If they phone does't have warranty we should be told before we buy it, not otherwise.
And if mtn changed their procedure in February how come is affecting me when i bought the phone in December last year.

Lucky
*** / ***

Hello maekon,

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the breakdown in service experienced with our High Volume Repair Centre.

We have now managed to locate the booking done for your Blackberry 9720 and we see the repair was declined as there was un-authorised repairs done to the device as well as a ***** missing from the unit. This voids the warranty of the device.

Please note that the charge of R330.00 is a mandatory fee for the technician physically and visually assessing the device. Please refer to the \Technical Fault Report\" document
